For the things in life which make me glad I'm not dead yet.

I've been spoiled with high quality single player experiences lately, rumours of the demise of single player gaming, it would seem, are grossly exaggerated. Although I wouldn't put Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions on the same level as Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys simple combo-based 3rd person action games, the kind of which were all the rage about a decade ago.
To celebrate hitting 6 figures I'm going to take a look back at the games I've played and pick out some best/worst of's in various categories. These are the games where I never had to take myself away from just enjoying the game to grind out a bunch of achievements after the fun part was over because, let's face it, if you want to "complete" a game most of the time you are going to have to endure some gameplay you'd normally avoid.
First, there’s that one achievement I’ve always meant to go back to but never quite managed to muster the enthusiasm to return to the game: 1. Win the Mile High Club Achievement in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Targets two and three are a little sadistic, I’ve played DMC4 on and off since release [...]
