A Return to PuG

Friday August 31st, 2007: City of Heroes (Gaming)
Last Updated: Saturday September 1st, 2007 12:55 PM

A rare week; I actully put in a good few hours in the City of Heroes!

In the late hours of Friday night, with none of my friends about, I decided I'd have a stab at forming a pick up group; but these would be no ordinary missions -- we'd be facing those cursed Malta Operatives with their Sappers, so team work would be essential -- not a staple diet of your ordinary pick up group!

Firstly, I'm very much used to leading teams as a Blaster, but I found that playing as a Tanker makes it so much easier to lead -- you can lead from the front and if the team is a little slow in following there's a good chance you actually survive when catch up :)

During the life of the team members came and went; Mai Sakaki, Locus Brio, Nihs Nek, Oh Yea, Hunny Bunny, Sparkd, Pr0xy, Gehasste Seele & DarkRestoration; but all throughout there was a surprising level of teamwork on display, unlike earlier in the day when I teamed with a certain Scrapper who appeared to be oblivious to the fact he was even on a team; much debvt ensured!

Durera's Xbox - 8/31/2007

You would think I had died and gone to heaven when Durera showed up to play. Gamer score stands at 24,833. He rocked out to Bomberman LIVE, and after that, called it a day.
