Blue Man GroupSaturday April 7th, 2007: Las Vegas (Personal) Our first proper day in Vegas; we walked down the strip stopping off at various places along the way; we took a trip up the Eiffel Tower in Paris to get a view of the Strip. We went to see the Blue Man Group in the evening; the tickets were pretty pricey, but the show was well worth it in the end. It's near impossible to describe the show because it's so visual, but if I can't recommend it enough. After the show we walked all the way North up the Strip to Stratosphere, barely getting there before it shut for the night. The trouble was that we could see Stratosphere from our hotel and it really didn't look like it was that far away, unfortunately it was! The North end was a real dive, and it actually felt quite depressing walking around, in contrast to the Southern end of the Strip. It was a good 2 hour walk (each way) -- I don't think we got back to the Hotel until about 3am the next morning; lesson learned -- use the tram!  Durera's Xbox - 4/7/20073 Processors, 512MB of RAM, custom graphics chip and multichannel surround sound all gone to waste yesterday as Durera decided not to show up.
