Back on Merseyside, Liverpool and Everton have agreed to hold talks about the possibility of ground-sharing at the request of the politicians -- despite both clubs being commited to not sharing already -- why do politicians continue to intervene in footballing issues? The government has already added hundreds of millions to the cost of the new Wembley, hopefully Liverpools' stadium plans will not be similarly affected. |
