The football season really kicks off today -- Liverpool's first game of the season, home to Chelsea, who efectively dumped us out of this season's Champion's League .. well they made sure that this season started about as well as last season finished by beating us 2-1, again.

Liverpool's strikers showing a complete disregard for the art of finishing, even Owen took two attempts to put away his penalty! On the plus side we played some good attacking football for parts of the match; Biscan and Cheyrou looked like footballers; but Kewell still looked lost stuck out on the right wing.
