Lost Planet: Extreme Condition Target Mark Location Guide
Target mark location descriptions originally written by Matt 'nofxgamer' Biro; images taken from xbox-c4.com (translation).
In February 2007 I decided to attempt to obtain possibly the most challenging Achievement put into an Xbox 360 game to-date; Master Pioneer. To aid me I created these guides by pulling together two of the best Target Mark guides previously available.

Matt's Original Intro
Here we go, I know some have been patiently waiting for this. Well we now know that some people have finally gotten this achievement and it surely is a challenge. I have included every mark on every difficulty to the best I could describe. What I would suggest doing is use this guide to help verbally, use this Japanese website to help visually, and the poster with all the mark locations to give an even more exact spot on where they are at. Good luck and I hope this helps you all out. Also a special thanks to Havocks, he got the achievement first (to our knowledge) and helped a couple of us out who were going for this achievement with the few marks we couldn't find. Also these are in order that I got them (I tried to make them in the best order that goes along with some of the levels, but some of them you can get one or the other first, up to you.)
Scanned poster photos:
The poster is about 90% correct, it does contain a few errors, only a few major ones, a couple are just that it says that one letter is in one location and another in some other location, but the locations are correct just the letter was mixed up.
The Guides
- Easy - All of the target marks are in pretty obvious to spot places, you shouldn't have any difficulty picking them up in one run through each level.
- Normal - Most of the target marks are in pretty obvious to spot places, you shouldn't have too much difficulty picking them up in one run through each level.
- Hard - I'm yet to play through the game on Hard
- Extreme - Many of the target marks are in very tough to spot places, a few are positioned such that once you've spotted them you may not be able to collect them without the Rifle. I managed to pick up most of the markers on one run through, but on certain levels, in order to have enough TEng for the final boss fight I skipped a marker or two on the way. Make sure you have a rifle with you at the end of mission 9, as the final marker is all but impossible without it.
