So, I’ve got another batch of games in on loan from Rich.  Playing through Lost Odyssey has reminded me how much I enjoy traditional RPGs.  As good as Fallout 3 & Mass Effect were, these “Action RPGs” just don’t hit the same buttons for me:

  1. Final Fantasy XIII
  2. The Last Remnant
  3. Blue Dragon
  4. Tomb Raider: Underworld
  5. LEGO Batman

I’ll be starting Final Fantasy XII tonight and will probably fire up LEGO Batman at some point.  I’ll likely play through the other games sequentially rather than splitting my time across multiple games at the same time

This of course means my plans to revisit Devil May Cry 4 are off for the forseeable future, and I’ll likely put Dead Rising on hold after having completed it twice in the past couple month, there’s certainly plenty of replayability left in the game, but I figure I’ll enjoy it more after a break from the game, as has been the case with Kameo; of which I was completed fed up by the time I sold it back in August ’07.

In the 2 months I’ve been borrowing it I’ve completed all the achievements I wasn’t motivated to get when I owned the game to hit 100% for the game:

  1. Forgotten Forest Ranking
  2. Snow Temple Ranking
  3. Thorn’s Airship Ranking
  4. Water Temple Ranking

Even though the DLC is dirt cheap now, I’m not tempted in the slightest to pick it up.  I enjoyed playing the game again in short bursts, but have no desire to play through the game 3 more times in the co-op, expert and time trial game modes that the DLC has introduced.  Even if it was free, it just doesn’t interest me.
