Never in My Wildest Dreams
Amazingly, incredibly, Liverpool are the champions of Europe having come back from 3-0 down at half time to beat AC Milan 3-2 on penalties. This is something I never thought I’d see in my lifetime, yet alone in the first year under a new a manager who clearly has a lot of rebuilding to do following the last two years of decline under Houllier. The night of May 25, 2005 will live with me forever.
